CHILDREN’S CHURCH   

 

 

MATTHEW 19:14:  But Jesus said, "Let the little

children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for

of such is the kingdom of heaven."

 

Once a lady approached a well-known Christian educator

with this question: “I have a six-year old son; when should

I start telling him about Jesus?” 

 

His reply should be taken to heart by all of us: “Lady, you

are six years too late. You should have started six years

ago!"

 

Children’s Church is geared to reach children at a level

that they can understand.  An atmosphere of worship is

provided to give them an opportunity to accept Christ at

an early age.

 

Timmy and Dixie Burlison, our Children's Church Pastors,

enjoy teaching children about Jesus.  The children in

Shady Grove's Children's Church sense their excitement,

love for Jesus, and love for kids, and become enthusiastic

about knowing, loving, and serving our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

 What is BGMC

 
BGMC is the missions education emphasis for children in the Assemblies of God. It provides resources to help teach kids about missions. It supports our missionaries in their fields of ministry in America and around the world.

Did you know? Among the Assemblies of God Missionaries, 85% were called to be missionaries while they were between the ages of 9 and 13!
